The ISOLS young member’s initiative aims to provide a platform of networking, interaction and collaboration between young physicians, engineers, scientists and other persons with a special focus on limb salvage.

  • Foundation of ISOLS young member’s initiative Facebook group to facilitate connections between young members
  • Planning of an ISOLS booth/table during next ISOLS meeting in Los Angeles 2021 addressing topics and special interest of ISOLS young member’s initiative

How it works
Activities

The committee is in charge of organizing all activities of the initiative. Always in consultation with ISOLS secretariat

Nomination

The nomination of the committee has to be confirmed by the chair and co-chair of the initiative

Active

Each member of the initiative must be active ISOLS member

Chair

The committee is represented by a chair and a co-chair

Members

The committee consists of up to 10 members and should be composed of representatives from geographic regions and disciplines relevant to Limb Salvage

Mentor

One ISOLS board member is appointed as mentor of the ISOLS young member’s initiative and shall serve as main contact person for guidance of ISOLS young member’s initiative projects

Connect

The initiative is the sum of it’s participants. Please take the opportunity and connect with us. Send a brief presentation about you to the committee representatives and ISOLS secretariat

Mandates

The mandates of the chair and co-chair as well as the committee members are held for two years and are renewable by the board

Please note that official communications from ISOLS Board members will only ever be sent from the email address  office@isols.com

Important: Fraudulent emails may display a familiar or trusted sender name on screen. Do not rely on the displayed name alone. Always check the full email address and its extension to confirm that it comes from the official @isols.com account.

Any messages claiming to be from Board members that come from other email addresses should be treated as suspicious and ignored. Do not click on links, open attachments, or provide any personal or financial information.
