ISOLS is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone at its conferences and official events, free from harassment for everyone, whatever their gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or nationality.
We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and respect for all attendees and therefore, harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes offensive remarks about any of the above, deliberate intimidation, stalking, recording, or photographing someone without consent, persistent disruption of sessions, and unwelcome sexual attention. Anyone asked to stop such a behavior is expected to comply immediately. The policy binds delegates, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors alike, throughout the conference.
We believe in supporting and empowering individuals to speak up and in maintaining and fostering a culture where everyone attending feels safe, is equally valued, and heard. If you are affected, see something, or have a concern, please contact a member of conference staff immediately — in person, or at office@isols.com
We are jointly committed to preventing harm, responding meaningfully to any breach of these principles, and building an international organization in which dignity and respect are foundational.
Where this Code of Conduct is breached, ISOLS may take whatever action it considers appropriate, including but not limited to, a formal warning; removal from the event without refund of the registration fee; termination of membership; exclusion from future membership or attendance at ISOLS events, for such period as ISOLS may determine.
