“As an orthopaedic oncologist, ISOLS is the society that most represents my practice. Every ISOLS conference is an opportunity to share knowledge, innovations and experiences with our community of surgeons, to re-connect with friends and to make new ones, to learn and to give insights of our own successes and failures. Orthopaedic oncology is inevitably a relatively small community due to the rarity of the diseases we treat, and ISOLS provides the opportunity for us to continue to grow by connecting groups from all sides of the globe, so that everyone’s experience can be shared and can be used as a platform to further improve treatments of bone and soft tissue tumors.”
