Why is ISOLS important for me?
Because ISOLS is the first largest meeting on musculoskeletal oncology with full of new expertise.
In order to get ceaseless progress in this field, we, tumor surgeons, have to keep going forward through ISOLS activities.
"Working in the field of oncology implies an additional responsibility to the usual medical task. The provision of knowledge, understanding and compassion to the patient makes our involvement, with him and his family, even greater with the consequent personal emotional impact. The support of a strong, consolidated, well-integrated and highly prestigious scientific society worldwide, such as ISOLS, makes us feel supported and understood in our daily work, being able to give our best to the patients."
The ISOLS is scientific society especially focusing on surgical treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. My first important presentation was at ISOLS Meeting, which was a very eye-opening experience. Since then the meetings have been educating and encouraging me to learn more about in the field of sarcomas. Thank you very much, ISOLS.
“ISOLS brings together a truly remarkable and accomplished group of experts that are the very best in limb salvage innovation. The international collaboration and collective experience makes this society one of the most diverse in the world. I have learned much and continue to learn from my esteemed colleagues. I am honored to be part of this exceptional organization.”
"ISOLS is my international "go to" peer group in Orthopaedic Oncology. socially it also represents an important group of international friends who I've bonded with now for many years and I believe this is the ethos we share as members of the ISOLS organisation. I've been attending since 1999 and it's always great to catch up with my fellow members as we share time together, resume our friendships from the last time we met to learn , celebrate successes but importantly often share difficult cases and learn from each other"
"ISOLS is an important society that allows for collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and industry from around the globe to discuss new technologies or approaches to limb salvage surgery and musculoskeletal tumors."
