ISOLS Traveling Fellowship – Explore the Orthopaedic Oncology Around the World

The International Society of Limb Salvage (ISOLS) invites mid-career orthopaedic oncologists to apply for the prestigious ISOLS Traveling Fellowship — an unparalleled 3-week educational journey.

What to Expect:

Spend three transformative weeks visiting world-renowned academic and clinical centers. Seven possible locations: Japan, China, Australia, India, United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America and United States. Fellows will engage directly with leading orthopaedic oncologists, observe advanced limb salvage procedures, and participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborative case discussions. Travel sponsored by ISOLS. Room and board sponsored by local hosts.

Applicant Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • Applicants must have 5 years in practice.
  • Active orthopedic oncologist.
    • Submit a 6-month case log (click here to download the template)
  • Able to participate in zoom interview
  • Able to participate in the tour dates during the year of the award.
  • Able to attend the 2026 ISOLS Annual Meeting.
    • Invited to present a concise review of their experience at the meeting.
    • Prepare a report to be posted on the website
  • Must be an active ISOLS Member (> 2years)
  • Two letters of recommendation from ISOLS members, highlighting and supporting the candidate’s qualifications and suitability (no specific format required)
